During the public consultation on the Joint Core Strategy for the Black Country Preferred Options from 17th March 2008 to 28th March 2008 the four Black Country local authorities held a series of local consultation events.
Dudley Council held consultation events on the Core Strategy in each of the Dudley Borough regeneration corridors (between 10am and 4pm) to which everyone was invited. These were drop in sessions where people had the opportunity to talk to a planning officer about the proposals:

Walsall Council also held drop in sessions to meet officers and discuss the Core Strategy at:

Wolverhampton City Council held manned exhibitions at the following:
27th March - Central Library, Wolverhampton 11-2pm

3rd April - Mander Centre (located between TJ Hughes/Tesco) 11-2pm
4th April - Central Library, Wolverhampton 11-2pm
In addition, exhibition boards were located in Wolverhampton Civic Centre throughout the consultation period.
